As we start this new day, I want to remind you of a powerful truth that can bring peace and comfort to our hearts. It’s a reminder that can help us navigate life’s uncertainties and doubts.

God Is Always Faithful To Answer

When we pray, we often have specific requests and desires. We may be seeking guidance, healing, provision, or protection. And sometimes, God’s answer is a resounding “YES!” He grants us our heart’s desire, and we rejoice in His goodness.

But sometimes, God’s answer is not what we had hoped for. He may say “NO” to our request, and we’re left wondering why. It’s in these moments that we must remember that God’s ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). His “NO” may be a protection from something that would harm us, or a redirection to something better.

And then there are times when God’s answer is “NOT YET.” He may be delaying His response to our prayer, not because He’s unwilling to answer, but because He’s working on our hearts and circumstances to prepare us for what’s to come. This “NOT YET” can be a challenging season, but it’s an opportunity to trust in God’s sovereignty and goodness.

And Sometimes…

Sometimes, when we’re seeking an answer, God’s response is not a clear “YES” or “NO” or “NOT YET.” Sometimes, His answer is simply “TRUST ME.” This can be a difficult and uncomfortable place to be, especially when we’re facing uncertainty and doubt. But it’s in these moments that we must choose to trust in God’s character and faithfulness.

We must remember that God is a God of love, and He always has our best interests at heart. Even when we can’t see the big picture or understand His ways, we can trust that He is working everything out for our good (Romans 8:28).
